By accessing or using the JWT Decoder tool ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

JWT Decoder is a client-side web tool that allows users to decode and verify JSON Web Tokens (JWTs). All processing occurs in your web browser, and no data is sent to our servers.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others. The Service is provided for educational and development purposes only.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The results of using the Service will meet your requirements

In no event shall JWT Decoder, its operators, contributors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

6. Security Considerations

While we have designed the Service to process all data client-side for security purposes, you acknowledge that:

  • No internet-based service can guarantee 100% security
  • You are responsible for following your organization's security policies
  • You should not use production tokens or sensitive secrets when possible
  • You use the Service at your own risk

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
